Managing API's with IntelliPay
If you have a integration with IntelliPay or you have an existing account and are looking to start integrating, you may need the use of our Merchant and API Keys.
By following the below instructions, you can Create, Manage, and Delete API Keys tied to your IntelliPay (CPTeller) account.
- Access your CPTeller account by logging in to https://secure.cpteller.com
- Select the 'Users' icon found in the top right of the page:

- Select the API Gear icon, found at the top of the Users table:

Creating an API Key
- Select the +Add API Credentials button found in the top right of the API Menu:

- Fill in the identifying fields and settings as need:
- Identifier ~ This is a unique identifier, similar to a username, used to track you API credentials. This identifier may show on reports if used to process transactions.
- Name or Description ~ This is a field used to describe how the API credentials will be used. For example: Lightbox, V200 Terminal 1, Reporting, etc.
- Notification Email ~ This field, after the email is validated, will send notification emails whenever there is an issue with an API Credential.
- Device ID Override ~ This field is used if any equipment will be utilizing the API credentials (such as a V200c or V400c). Please reach out to our Support team if you are unsure which setting to select.
- The Merchant and API keys are auto-generated. You may 're-roll' the API key for a different string if needed. Do this using the Recycle icon found to the right of the field:

- Make sure to copy both the Merchant and API Keys by clicking on the field or highlighting and manually copying them. (See note at the bottom of this section)
- Once everything is set correctly, select 'Save Credentials' in the top right of the menu:

***NOTE: After the credentials are saved, the API Key will be encrypted and will no longer be visible. In order to see the API Key again, a new one will need to be generated (see Managing an API Key).
